Cottage style door after being finished in our workshop with Farrow & Ball
paint, colour ‘Ver De Terre’
The cottage door shown in adjacent image now fitted – note how well the ironmongery
and leaded glass compliment the ‘traditional look’.
Internal hardwood Louis Door stained in our workshop in Sikkens Teak finish to
match banister rails, spindles and newel posts.
This is a triple glazed Cheltenham Old American Door. This door [as shown] should only be
fitted where there is a porch or where it is protected by a canopy as the bolection
mouldings are quite likely to be damaged over time with constant exposure to the elements.
External hardwood triple glazed Derby Door treated with three coats of Sadolin Classic
Antique Pine. When fitted into the existing frame as this one was and where there is no
integral draught strip we recommend that a draught strip is fitted externally. As can be
seen this door is set back under a porch as all doors with protruding mouldings should be
to avoid problems later which will be caused by the weather.
